Ingest a memory into OpenBrain. Optional subjectKey for org-scoped subject filtering.

Usage

Register this tool on the OpenBrain MCP server at /mcp with a Sanctum token that includes the required memory abilities for your organization.

Policy

Write tools (memory_ingest, memory_upsert, memory_ingest_batch, memory_update, memory_delete) need the memory:ingest or memory:admin ability; read tools need memory:search. X-Organization-Id is honored on MCP and must agree with the token's organization.

When billing enforcement is on, writes for an unpaid organization fail with the 402 entitlement_required denial while reads stay available, and exhausted monthly caps return the 429 quota_exceeded denial. The 503 service_unavailable denial means entitlement or quota could not be resolved safely (Stripe unconfigured, or an unrecognized subscription price). See Authentication and Billing and usage.
